A bit about me

Everyone knows that one person who always seems to get asked the random questions. Well, that’s me. Over the years, I’ve found myself in all sorts of conversations – whether it’s over a pint at the pub (yes, I’m British), chatting with like-minded folks at a meetup, or just having a spontaneous exchange about life, tech, or the little quirks of everyday living.

This blog is my way of gathering those thoughts, experiences, and curiosities in one place. It’s a mix of things I’ve talked about, found interesting, or simply felt were worth sharing. At its heart, it’s about making sense of the world around us – and passing along a few insights I’ve picked up along the way. With the occasional rant or pet peeve thrown in for balance!

Technology is both my passion and my profession, and while I joke about living to 100 just to be the oldest geek in town, the truth is I’m a family man – married with kids, working a regular 9-to-5 as a software engineer. Nothing flashy – just the rhythm of everyday life.

Thanks for stopping by. This writing journey is a bit of an experiment for me – I’m much more comfortable writing code than crafting prose – but I hope you’ll find something here that makes you think, smile, or nod along. And if the odd typo slips through, I trust you’ll be kind. So, sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride.
